The highly anticipated Lake Oconee Showcase of Homes returns on Saturday, October 25, 2025, offering an exclusive opportunity to tour six breathtaking homes within the prestigious Reynolds Lake Oconee community. In addition to the home tour, the event will feature an online auction from October 20 to October 26, showcasing unique items and experiences to benefit Greene County Habitat for Humanity.
More than just a celebration of architectural excellence, the Showcase of Homes serves as a crucial fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. It’s a movement that builds homes, transforms lives, and strengthens our community. Because of your support, hardworking families, who might never have had the chance to own a home, now have a safe, stable place to call their own.
Since its inception in 2018, this community-driven event has raised essential funds, contributing to the construction of 20 new homes and the renovation of 8 others, providing safe, affordable housing to families in Greene County. The 2025 event aims to continue this mission, with a goal of building four homes in 2026.
This year’s event is led by dedicated Co-Chairs Jane Sowell and Kara Marren, whose passion and experience ensure that the 2025 Showcase will be both impactful and inspiring. Reynolds Lake Oconee is the Presenting Sponsor, further solidifying their commitment to the community and the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
